i think AP is by far the best poker website out there.  they have freerolls every hour-half hour during the day and a daily 1k freeroll.  they used to have a 5k weekly freeroll which was nice though

I have played a few freerolls at this site and dislike the software. I found it slow and lots of disconnections when I played. I don't think I would deposit my money at this site. Just my opinion.

i do agree the site has its downfalls but the freeroll are great way better then AP with 10% of the entrants getting paid, but sometimes i often find that when you click te call/raise etc buttons it takes about 7 seconds to actually work

I don't know.  I've always had problems with HORRID delays with Poker.com.

With it being flash built, that's understandable.  But still, if you can't provide a quality product in the code you're using, then it's time to change codes.

Well Teri, I think you are spot on.  The software is terribly slow and they would have to practically hand me money to show up there on a regular basis.

For two straight days Poker.com has shut down during he middle of a tournament! Is this par for the course or an exception to the rule?

that can be good if your short stacked, as the rule state that the prize pool must be split over the remaining players so if the big blind is going to put you all in next hand and they shut down with 100 left instead of having 0.12 you get a $1

I don't think there is any way you can put a positive spin on the program shutting down at the end of a tourney. I'd rather see the thing through, rather than wonder about how they will fix the fiasco.

QDawg:  I can't say that I've ever had this happen to me at Poker.com, but there is a reason I don't play there....the software is horrible.

Poker.com software updates

Postby Warorinced » Sun Dec 11, 2005 2:18 am

I NEVER had a problem with Poker.com until their last few udates.  Now I can rarely load it in without crashing.  Anyone else having this problem?  I wrote to them 5 times before I got a response and they had the nerve to tell me to just turn off the animation and room chat.

I have disconnected a few times but do like the % that come up, the opportunity to show one card, both cards, or rabbit the rest of the cards.  It seems they are trying to make some changes.  This week they had a significant system upgrade.
