AA is never a bad starting hand, NEVER. But it isnt 100% winning hand all the time, but if you play it right it is really good! Fold is a option too!

The only reason why some call it a bad starting hand is because they don't know how to play the hand.  If you go all-in pre-flop than you statistically have the best hand.  Although it can be a bad hand because people tend to overplay it after the flop and sometimes they will end up getting beat after the flop and than they make the all-in move and regret and then come on this forum and tell us why AA is not always a good stating hand.

If you don't want to get beat, than go all-in pre-flop, generally you don't get many callers, so your odds are increased to win the hand.  Remember when you have aces you probably don't want more than 3 people in on the hand (including yourself).  So if your playing at a loose table the proper move is to go all-in, force a few people to make a bad play and if you get beat from there than your luck is just rotten and there's nothing you can do about it.

Wow such a good starting post!!! You've made me smarter.
AA is never a bad hand to start with in Holdem. It is the best so how can it be bad? While it can be argued that there are situations that you might need to fold it preflop, they are rare!!

I like to play AA but it seems like if you get them first off in the game or right after a break 95% of the time you will get beat out of them, and of course it is usually a bad hand that gets you also.

I agree,aa is a good starting hand, but I also think in the game of poker any 2 cards can win,and as I have seen in previous posts there are a lot of bad hands that usually beat those aa hands.
