10 9 SUITED

Postby Themem » Sat Feb 25, 2006 9:10 pm

IS A PRE-FLOP RAISE THE BEST CALL HERE ? I FIND THIS TO BE A GREAT STARTING HAND THAT USUALLY PAYS OFF BIG. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO PLAY THIS PRE-FLOP ?

you really shouldn't raise, slow play if it hits. if you hit your straight the other person usually has a good hand too and will pay you off

you should usually just call with this hand but if someone raises this is one of the best hands to suck out on people...so many possiblities ur bound to hit one of them...

if your a big chip bully and have most chips in play u should deff call all ins with this hands especially if they are a short stack

I think u should call if blinds arent too high, but if some1 raises and more than 1 player call it, take care, they could have A10,K10 or J10.
