Undefined poker subject

AA

I had AA preflop and went all in, although I won, was I right in not slowplaying this had? I was just nervous of 2 pair or straight draws

That is how  i like playing the hand sometimes. I don't think that is the best way approaching the hand though. Obviously if you start off with the best possible hand you want to make chips from it. You just have to worry about the cards out ehre if you raise preflop and flop comes J Q K someone raises you have to lay it down.

You probably shouldn't just move in with AA preflop, unless of course your in a very loose game and likely to get called by someone.  Someone drawing out on you should not scare you into potentially wasting a very good hand.  And if someone would have outflopped you then they still might even if you move in.  If someone has 10s and they flop a set on you, their going to do it whether all your chips are already in or not.   :wink:

AA  is only a pair.  anybody that manages to call could make 2 pair anytime

oddly enough this is the main reason to bet it up bigtime.   so that they don't manage to call.
