I'll play many different suited connectors. The thing about them, is that you have to play them in  good position and only call raises with them preflop if the pot is worth it.

getting in trouble with Suited Connecters

Postby Hincycle » Sun Dec 25, 2005 12:43 am

You can only play suited connecters if you know going in that you are probably gonna have to fold after the flop.  I play them just like small pairs get in cheap and get out if you dont hit

suited connectors

suited connectors always make for a nice starting hand but if you really think about it should be a flop it or drop it hand.  Your setting yourself up to a chase unless your estremly lucky and hit the nuts on the flop.  My advice, call and ride to the flop.

can turn a devastating hand to someone, but awful things like losing to higher flushes is very painful.

They are the best when in the blinds. You can often catch a flop wich is great when you call a raise.

great when you hit a straight flush.  but watch when you hit the small end of the flush as it is hard to get away from.
