ak is a trickey hand most people think its a great hand form the start but its not. it has potential to be a great hand a str8 a flsuh As or Ks. thats why so many people go allin with them thinking its the best hand hand when its only good when it hits

good hand, not great hand, i find myself thinking less and less of this hand the more i play with it, realistically its only good when palying against a lower ace.

From all my reading and watching, AK suited or not, is a very good drawing hand. It is not the end all of hands. And if I am up against solid players who only play top hands and they come way over the top of me, I look at chips and position and I may fold the slick.

He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day ;)
