Bluff me and I fold

Postby Mystery36 » Tue May 03, 2005 11:36 pm

I played on a 25cent ring game yesterday which I normally am just a tourney player.I was bluffed out of 3 nice pots.I hate it I hate it I hate it.Im going to start playing those tables a little more to get some practice.I did however still come out $18 to the good but I would have done better.I cant get a read on a face I cant see.If their name would flinch or sweat I would take em down.

sometimes its not the hand that wines the game its the way you play it . sometime if i think hes on a bluff i will double his bet if he dont fold i get out you loose some chips but your wining sometimes too . no way to tell a true bluff on the net .

my success rate on a bluff is marginal -to barely fair---at best -the reraise is a good move then if a call is made you have a better feel on whats up .

Like someone (S. Danneman, I think it was) at the WSOP said "Not calling a big raise is only a SMALL mistake."  I wouldn't worry too much about it, just use your player notes and be ready for them next time.
