:D  Hey Shaw.  The answer is yes and no.  It depends of a few factors.  Is the dealer good, friendly and does he or she relate well with the players.  Is the table as a whole friendly and talkative and the game going smoothly.  After these considerations, if on a winning one should tip.  If losing, normally most people don't tip.  However, when leaving the table most people will leave the dealer a tip.

Always tip your dealer, whether a good night or a bad night, alwys tip your dealer.  They work hard to entertain you while you play, though some may not be as friendly as others, they are still there for you doing what they do best, dealing cards.  And all that washing is worth at least a few bux.

Cheers

I think you should tip the dealer no matter what happens. If you up you can afford to tip them more and if your down you should still tip them but whatever you can afford. The dealer is the there deal you the cards and shouldn't be punished by not getting a tip for dealing you some bad cards or whatever. They have no factor over luck in what you get or what happens to you.

It's more simple give a tip when you win.. but a minimum tip is "required", 5-10%...

It all depends on the size of the pot. I always tip for a pot but if it,s just the Blinds i don,t tip. Have to tip the waitress or you may never see her come back.  lol
