difference between rookies and veterans = smart betting!

It is what someone picks up over time...how to bet!  First off never go all in unless you are calling someone elses bet!   If u have the nuts after the river and u r chipleader, whoever your playing against dont put him all in bet two-thirds of his chip stack...if u go to put him all in it may scare him and if he is going to call two-thirds of his stack he will raise u and go all-in himself, and fall into the trap..

First off, the whole point of no limit holdem, is that you can go all in at any time. I use that fact to my full advantage cause many poker players are afraid of those two words, especially from an aggfressive player. Learning to bet appropriately is important, but when in doubt, just push the chip stack around.

This is an interesting theory because a lot of the times it may work...but if you are trying to get a call and you go all in....it may look like you are over betting the pot and that you've got rags....some people call an all-in when they put someone else on a pure bluff

I have been playing online poker for about 2 years and I am still learning.  I don't think there is an exact science on how to play or what to bet.  I think poker is a lot like golf.  There is no perfect game.

There are so many donks playing now I don,t think you have to worry about betting stragedy. !! Which is sad because it takes the skill out of the game. Many players now either fold or go all in !! It,s so easy, you don,t have to bet at all. I,ll be a calling station, sit back with the nuts and they will bet into you !!

It doesnt matter has above said. Esp. in these freerolls too, people just give you there chips if you wait. If you get AA or KK, just move all in, someone will call in the early going of a tournament.

:D The name of the game is no limit poker.  Some favourable hands almost demand that you go all in, because of the circumstance.  If that is the case, why not just do it?

all in bets seem to scare players away.i like to bet the pot or a little more. i also like to bet more than 3 times the big blind.that ll get a player or 2 more out of the way.
