I can relate. I learned how to play REAL poker while doing my 20+ years in the military. Holding the cards is a whole lot better ... but when you can find a game 24/7 online.... it's better than nothing. :D

I have been playing poker off and on for about 2 years but its only been via the internet.  I have never sat in on a live game.  I don't think I would do very well.  My husband thinks I should but I don't think I have a poker face.

I prefer to play live because i enjoy it more and get more involved, but I do much better on the Internet.  I'm not sure if it's coincidence or not, but i have much more success playing online.

Some people have said that my game is more suited for playing online.  I don't think I can argue with that.  Unfortunately i like playing live better.....

Not that I don't like playing online though.  It's still fun.

Anybody else considered, or consider themselves an online player?
