Poker a man's game.

Postby Enuenated » Sun Dec 11, 2005 8:21 pm

Is it a reasonable thing, I ask you, for a grown man to run about and hit a ball?  Poker's the only game fit for a grown man.  Then, your hand is against every man's, and every man's is against yours.  Teamwork?  Who ever made a fortune by teamwork?  There's only one way to make a fortune, and that's to down the fellow who's up against you.

Poker is a mind game, and of course requires some luck..It is shown in statistics that women mature faster then man and patience being a huge part of poker, we have the most of! So to say it's a man game is sooo not right! pfffffffft lol :x

studies have also shown that over 75% of 'women' who post in online forums and chat on the net are actually sexually frustrated men.

So maybe poker is also for transvestites.

Man's game?

Postby Ecastiou » Sun Dec 25, 2005 11:53 pm

How can it be just a mans game.  That's like saying chocolate is a woman's food?  What an ignorant statement.  To each his/her own. I've seen just as many good women as men players online.

Poker is not your man's game anymore

Postby Whictime » Sat Jan 07, 2006 7:13 pm

well, I suppose that statement ("poker is a man's game") was made by an angry man that lost to a woman in a big tournament.  As anyone knows, it doesn't take super strength to play poker. A woman has just as much chance to win as a man. In fact, women being more diplomatic, have a much better chance of out lasting a man in a tournament. I say let the men beware, the women are here to stay.

It really doesn,t matter with on-line poker, now does it !! In live poker, so many more men play at the big stakes that you cannot make a comparison !!!
