CD Tour

Postby Dientiong » Tue Nov 15, 2005 3:22 pm

If you haven't played the CD Tour, you should check it out.  Mauidudi has been touting it for quite sometime and I finally got on board.

The way it works:

M-W-F:  They hold $3.30 buy-ins that are qualifiying tourneys.

Weekly Freeroll:  If you finish in the top 20 of a qualifying tourney, you are put on the allow list for the Sunday $1000 freeroll.

Monthly Freeroll:  I haven't been around long enough to know how this one works yet.  Hopefully Maui can shed some light on it.

I have played in two qualifiers so far and cashed in on both.  I played in this past sunday's weekly freroll and just missed the money.

The competition is pretty solid, but nothing you can't handle.  Just stay away from my stack if you join....I always have you beat.

CD Tour

Howdy Y'all -

Yes GM, the CD Tour has been very lucrative for me as well. Let me mention a few things you left out. The weekday qualifiers have a guaranteed payout of $300 but usually only attract about 60 entries or so which gives us about a $120 overlay that CD is covering. The weekly $1000 FR usually has less than 120 entries so it's incredibly attractive as well. The monthly is a $2000 FR that's held the first Saturday of the following month and has only about 120 entries as well.

There's more cash to be made as well if you do well during the month. You're given points for the higher finishes and they pay additional cash to the top point places each month. Their web-site is cdpoker.com and you can find the specifics there through the "CD Poker Tour" link.

Congratulations on your finishes by the way and I wish you all the best of luck at the tables!

EDIT: There are actually TWO qualifiers each of those three days so you have six chances to qualify each week. Also Kerm, the Weekly is only $1000 but the Monthly is $2000.

It was all explained pretty clearly in the previous 2 posts. You play a $3 qualifier. They have them 3 times a week. MWF. They couldn't have made it any clearer.
