When it comes to sitting at an Omaha Hi/Lo table, I've heard a lot of people advise others to watch a table for awhile before joining. This gives you an opportunity to see who is who, and how they play. Personally, I don't have the patience. However, I have found something that works just as well, if not better: Hand History.
One of the things that separates the good O/8 players from the bad is hand selection. The beauty of the Hand History feature is that you can scroll through the previous hands and see what hands your opponents play and in what position. Granted, you are limited to the showdown hands but, in a Hi-Lo game, there are a lot of showdowns.
