bad places

Postby Housight » Sat Jun 18, 2005 10:30 am

just saw a thred somewhere else that a place called rochester casino on the net is being avoided as several tourny winners were not paid .....
they offered to let the folds make deposits and match it through raked hands and I guess this was not part of the tournys rules....but suddenly they decided to change the rules rather then pay out

Did anyone ever find out which Online Poker Site went bankrupt?  I'm sure a simple search on Google News would provide the answer.

Tropics Poker is the latest Poker Site to close.  I used to play there often, and liked the fact that you could withdraw your winnings via Neteller regardless of whether or not you had made a deposit with them.  I could tell the site was in trouble when they changed their free roll policy; you had to earn points to cash out any free roll winnings you had.

I missed Tropics also.
It is too bad they closed.

I believe AlohaPoker was bought by PokerRoom.
I am not sure they bankrupted or not.
