Me personaly I would have played th QQ, cause late in a tourney it's a huge hand better than A K. Next time you will probably play them. sry to hear the bad beat.

I think that QQ is a hand in which you want to be the aggressor, no the caller.  If you are at a final table fighting for your life, that's one thing....but early on, survival is the key.  If somebody else throws all in before me, I reluctantly, but correctly fold.  The fact that you would have hit four of a kind in this particular instance is just one side of the story.  The other, more common story, involves going up an opponent with KK, AA, AK....and they live happily ever after.

Turn is another 2...raise, I push all in. One caller folds, the other calls all in. Turns over A5 suited...and gets a fricking A on the river.

I still think pushing my QQ was the right thing...didn't figure anyone would have a hand with a 2 or a 3 would be in with reraises. Thought I might be beat by AA or KK, and so be it. But couldn't believe he risked it all on a gutshot straight draw. And this wasn't even a freeroll...

I don't rage on players for the way they play...but believe me, I was tempted!

ya did the right thing. the odds were with you even if it didnt work out. stick with the numbers and you will prevail.

QQ you have to go for it 100% of the time.  Worrying about pocket KK pocket rockets is a waste of time in freerolls.

Just my two cents.

All in, it is not often that Q-Q is in the hand.

It's SO hard to throw that hand away. especially preflop, you KNOW your going against at LEAST one ace,, and those players who treat every ace like it's gold, can get lucky every time,,play the player as well as the cards in that situation , if you can.

It,s a horrible spot to be in !! Early in the tournament, especially a large tournament many players will gamble with anything hoping for a quick double up !! I have lost so many times with QQ !! You can bet there is an ACE-K out there or Ace-x. So any ace or king flops and your cooked ! It,s happened to me too many times, Its a tough fold at any time!

Yeah, there is a very little chance to hit an Ace or a King
