Still idiots in later, just the ones who get lucky on their 8 2 all in and win. I like playing real slow at the start of freerolls and try to avoid all ins no matter what till a little later. I'll play really loose and try to get some two pairs.. straights.. flushes.. then I'll call the idiot who goes all in with their King high. Basic rule for freeroll is to try to never go all in and NEVER bluff because someone will call with crap..

i hate freerolls im so sick of em i hardly ever play in them anymore.ill be playing and see all the wild ones go all in with junk and win,i go all in with aces and lose, winning a freeroll is like a crapshoot.i dont see why people waste there time and go all in with junk, they must play 10 diffrent freerolls at the same time and hope to get a big chip lead.these people need help.

my strategy in multi table tourneys is to knock out about 3 or 4 people in an hour. also i mix up my play with good hands such as slightly raisin with qq or might make a raise 8x the big blind early in the tourney with low blinds. bulid a good chip stack, let the riff raff get rid of themselves and then play real poker. i also try to avoid gettin into big pots with chip leaders unless your 90 to 100% sure you'll win. this works for me to make it to final 2 tables, and at that point play upper echelon hands such as aks aa kk and a few other hands with trappin possibilities. this might help u, but the best play is just to play your own game and hope for the best and get lucky once in a while on draws and what not. im kinda bored and kinda messed up but this should help at least a little.

I just realized that some people think they should be aggressive early. What is the point of that? win about 50 chips. I stay tight for the first 3-4 rounds and then unload and then sit tight and still pick up pots every now and then. When we are like 3 away from the money i sometimes get really aggresive because of all the tighter players. then when we hit the money I sit tight until final 2-3 tables and then unload again. Then sit tight make the final table wait until you are a little under average stack and then unload again.

I usually try to play a little tighter at first, and loosen up a little towards the middle. Right before the money hits, i usually try to steal a few blinds, as long as i have a little something. dunno, it seems to work a little for me......

a the start of a freeroll i like to play tight but when i have a hand be aggressive since usually you get idiots to call. other times i'll change it up and play any hand unless there is a raise. either way the start of a freeroll tends to be more of a lottery than anything.

I used the strategy a few times but I disagree with a few parts that didnt go so well for me...maybe you could critique it a bit.

i think that u have to find the style of play that best suits your own self, & also the sites that you do well at, & if u go all in be prepared to lose also, but when i get down to in the money or close sometimes i'll fold anything & i do mean anything, because you can get ppl that will call with anything no matter what u have & they 9 times out of 10 draw out on ya

Like many decisions in poker, I think strategy in the freerolls depends on how you weigh various factors, and that the weights can change depending on the particular situation.  For instance, should you play differently in one with a $5000 prize pool vs. one offering $20?  There's no answer to this question that is "right" for everyone.

you are exactly right, & remember this too, no matter how many books you read, won't make u more of a winner or loser, & when have u ever seen a pro say a book helped them win lol

HI/
MY BEST FINISHING POSITION IN FREEROLLS WAS 35TH,OUT OF 1000 ON BETFRED,THAT WAS ACHIEVED BY NOT PLAYING 1ST HOUR AND AVOIDING THE TEMPTATION{BEING NEW TO POKER}OF  GOING ALL IN TO OFTEN{IVE ONLY STARTED PLAYING 3/4 WEEKS AND CAN SEE AJPOKERS STRATEGY IS GOOD,IF TEMPTATION IS AVOIDED
