Money levels, standard of play

Postby Allagarl1972 » Sat Jun 18, 2005 9:20 pm

I have been playing 10c-20c blinds (limit and n.l)and vowed that once i made 20 times my bank then i would move up to next level. I have now moved up to next level 25c-50c and found this at present to be even easier than than blinds i started on.
I have now been thinking that maybe i should advance myself after i have made just 10 times my bank, and can i really expect next level to be that much more difficult?

maybe i am getting greedy or just over confident.

I started with a bank of only $10 (but had deposited and lost $40 dollars before that) and it has taken me a long time to get this far, and forsee it as you can imagine taking even longer to advance to next level

I have refined my game and i am a very careful player, but back to question does standard of play go up as much as the level of blinds?

Would appreciate some feedback from others that have started in similar way

my advice is too work your way up slowly. Rushing to higher stakes too soon is never a good idea. dominate at a level then go up the ladder.
