Does anyone else have a "Winning" loser hand?

Postby Comenclater » Tue Apr 19, 2005 12:06 am

Of course I always folded45,. and low and behold I have seen trips and full houses come up on them so much i started playing 45. And truth being stranger than fiction I have won more than I've lost including the last six str8 hands that i played 45...anyone else with a favorite "bad" hand?

yes, as long as the blinds are still low and no BIG pre-flop raiz then i like to play a few low2 card hand...3,4/ 45/ 23/ or kinda any cards i got 2 of that can give me a good str8t shoot.. one thang i hate doing is calling them when they are suited tho.. i hate having the flush and it being low cuz then it seems like i almost have to play it throw even if i kinda now they have a higher one

10 4 and 5 3 all in!
I've made 4441010 with 10 4, three times and
made a set of fives or a straight with 5 3, eleven times.

bad hands

Postby Peons1993 » Sun Nov 27, 2005 6:15 pm

the worst hand i generally play is 97.  the only reason is that i may be able to suck out into a hidden straight.  most people can't put you on hands such as 9 7 b/c there is no reason for you to be in the hand.  however i don't play it all the time, table positioning means everything when deciding to play a below average hand.

I always play 5 8 off, its just one of those hands i always seem to do well with and i would definately say its my best worst hand.

If I am on the button and there are three or more limpers in front of me... i will play 54,65,67 suited or unsuited.

But my favorite semi rag hands to play are 89s or j9suited if I can get in cheap.. J4 in the BB is my lucky hand. I have flopped two pair or the boat several times. Of course I do not call a raise with it. Ive also had luck many times with the bb special of 85 and 32.

The hands I find even more useless then 72 is 92 or K2

If I'm short stacked in a tourney then my favorite hand or at least my most profitable to date has been 10/8 suited.  I have no idea why but I have flopped more 2 pair combos and str8s with this hand compared to any other.
