Aggressive Early
Conservative Late

You really don't have that much of a chance in large tourneys as it is, so it's best to build your stack early when you don't have a lot of time dedicated already. Then later, slow down to outlast the more aggressive players, and then pick up again later when you can afford it.

aggressive patience

sounds crazy huh I think 90 percent of the time conservative is the way to go but pick your spots and you can make very aggressive plays to move people off of some big pots.  tourneys are all about survival and this tactic works for me often

Being passive is the way to go.

At first i play fairly aggressive. I'll try and limp in on almost any hand. Then as the tournament progresses i become more conservative until there are few people left when i become a little more aggressive.

I like to play alot early and get a pretty good amount of chips, then I sit back.  Other people will get knocked out obviously. Play the good  hands and the blinds.
