I am finding more and more that K/4 is a very popular hand to have.  I seems to be showing up quite a bit in the flops and at the turn.  Does anyone else see this as happening.

No, must be consquence. If there suited i sumtimes lurk in depending on the game/tournament. If you hit the king and no one else has one.. its nice

what a bad time to get paint and slop popping up over and over again. if i saw this time after time i would cry. if you make you pair k s kicker sucks

Do you have any empirical data to support this, or do you just think this is happening?

sorry mate, but K4 being good is just coincidence, I find K4 to get get me into trouble a lot of the time, 4 just dont show up on the flop that often

I wouldnt even play this trash unless on a blind with no raise. Some people do have lucky hands they play so maybe this is yours. Problem is if a king hits the flop your probably out-kickered and will lose alot of chips.

K4, suited or unsuited, is an awful starting hand.  In HU play, go ahead and play it.  Anything other than that is just a bad game plan.

You always have to ask yourself. "What am I looking for?" With K4, if the K hits, you are probably going to go broke from your kicker. Its a junk hand, don't play it.
