specific pacific poker hand

Postby Mystery36 » Sun Mar 27, 2005 4:26 am

I play several 5 player tourneys a day at pacific poker and this is one of the things I have learned. If you are holding a pocket pair of 7s and the flop starts with 55 fold it.I promise you the next card will be a 5 and unless they folded someone will have the other 5.I have seen the same hand 6 times.I dont know much but this is my advise.

This sounds alot like the conspiracy theories that are out there about rigging hands. I have played for about a year at Pacific and I cannot recall this happening alot, but I will keep a look out for it.

I dont know about rigging hands but more like its the way the software runs.Just like if your playing on a prima site you just dont win with top pair you better have a boat and alot of times it better be a big boat.Or maybe like at ICP or William Hill if you have pocket kings half the time someone else will have pocket aces.

Yeah I get tired of hearing conspiracy theories.  I do believe that you can run horribly at certain points on certain sites.  Like, for one month I can run incredibly at Stars and choke on Full Tilt, and then next month, it'll be vice versa.  Or then the next month we'll say that PokerChamps is my site.

But there is no way that a reputable site purposefully "rigs" the outcomes of hands.
