Know when to hold’em, and know when to fold’em

Learn how to fold a hand, and don’t be a calling machine. Many beginners keep betting regardless of the board or what their opponent’s actions are suggesting. Top players frequently say it’s the hands you can lay down that are often the key to profitable play.

I disagree with your golden rule Ive found that showing a bluff once in a while sets you up for a call from second pair when you have the nuts. and on the other hand showing the nuts makes it easy to bluff when you need it later on. Im not saying show every hand. but once in a while, when its really good flash your skill. Keep your opponents afraid.
