I tend to agree with you, however, it doesn't take you too long playing online to realize that 99% of the players you play against (especially ones who would consider playing this hand anywhere but on the button or in the blinds) are ANYTHING BUT professionals!
In fact, most if not all these players are LOSING players, and they basically play RUSSIAN ROULETTE with JUNK HANDS because they know they're incapable of winning with skill.
I've yet to see ANY of these types of players win a tournament, especially when they have a big chip lead over the rest of the field early on. If anything, I'm licking my chops when they come to my table. While I run the risk of being eliminated against a Q 3 suited hand, the chance of my doubling up increases 10 to 20 fold due to how poor of players they are.
Luck will occur once in a while (and sadly, it's just that ONE time that may result in your being eliminated from the tournament), but SKILL (which they ALL LACK!) will always overcome it in the long run.
If you don't believe this statement, see how frequently the same 20 or 30 names at AP and elsewhere are in the running to cash and or win each tournament they play.
