My pet peeve

Postby Pruchalk » Thu Feb 09, 2006 2:29 am

Okay, my pet peeve is people who have to "leave" in the middle of a tournament. They go all in every hand, saying "I have to go...someone take my chips..."

First of all, if you don't have time...DON'T PLAY. But I do realize that sometimes things come up. Okay..if that's the case...SIT OUT! Just let yourself be blinded out.

Why am I adamant about this? Well, it always happens the same. Some jackass goes all in with crap...someone with a hand calls...and the jackass sucks out and knocks out the real player. I usually don't get involved just because of that, but...

Some donk starts the all in thing. He catches a 4 on the river with 42 to suck out some other guy, double up, and take the chip lead over from me. He continues...and of course I have AA. I go all in...he shows Q5...and catches a straight and I'm gone.

If you're not going to finish...JUST SIT OUT!

Okay, now I feel better...but not really.

You got to watch those "all-in" with lousy cards.  AP seems to reward those on the river often.

my pet peeve is the first hand. you get a nice hand call the blind and four people go all in. this only happens on freerolls or cheap torneys but still. what makes you want to pay one hand of poker?

I hate crybabies.

Oh, and I also hate the poker experts who know oh so much about poker but for some reason they are playing a freeroll. Quite often, the know-it-alls are crybabies too.

Most of them using that excuse don't realy have to go.  They just use that as an excuse to go all in with crap.  You'll notice after they have hit a few times they start to play again.  If you realy have to go, just sit out.

Im with you planes. Sit out please. Ive seen people say i have to go and go all-in and thay have AA. Dont trust anyone. And only call these people with the nuts, unless a true pattern in playing is seen.
