And are there any strategic implications to this?  do you play the hand differently because you happen not to like it?

It seems every single time I get JJ or QQ someone has KK or AA, its just sickening how many pots I lose with someone who slow plays a higher pocket pair when a low flop comes.

My way to play them, if its early, all in, if its late fold to a raise.

JJ is quite possibly the most overrated starting hand. You have 3 overcards to burn you with and a rainbow flop opens up straight draws for calling stations holding lower cards

I always go all in with pocket jj, it works for me.

The only time i play a JJ aggressively is when i'm short stacked, then i get anialated....  Thats not true, i guess i play them when i'm high mam on the table cause then i usaully take out a lower stack....terrible those jacks. I have no problems folking them at all.....i would prefer a middle pair to JJ.

Depending on what I'm playing will decide what I do.  Ring table with 6 or less I protect JJ and 1010(protecting meaning a decent raise maybe 3 times the BB)

In MTT I will call the blinds with them early in or a small raise.  Late in the tourny with 8 or less at the table I will raise at least 4 or 5 times the BB.

Basically I protect them but I don't fall in love with them.
