This is scary, no wonder I do not win, I play all those hands and throw away pairs and high sutied connectors. Maybe it is time to rethink my strategy.

Wow, some very strange favorite starting hands. You guys can come play with me anytime you like. When I'm sitting at home and that J8o pops up, I don't sit up and take notice, I fold. Now when the AA comes, I sit up and my heart beats a little faster.
The hand I dislike the most is JJ. The odds of an A, K, or Q coming on the flop are around 70%. JJ is a great hand for winning little pots and losing big ones if you aren't careful.

Believe it or not I play J-10 or 6-9 as the alternatives to the regular cards being dealt. "Gap" cards like 7-9 or 6-8 should also be played for 2 pair or straight.

I like to play the 94 or 95....seems I most times end up with 3 9s before the river!  but boy or boy do I get some flames my way when they see those cards!

Mine is j10 suited, but i'll play if os too.  Don't know why that works for me but I win more often then not....It is a really stupid hand to play, but to me it always looks soooooo good...

Postby Tirs1969 » Sun Nov 20, 2005 12:44 am

the worst hand i play is 10/5. either card is used in every straight in the game. it tops off the wheel and trailers the high straight.

favorite hand

j 10 is the best hand to start out if you like chasing your straights.  i personally like j 9 as it is harder to see when i have made my hand.

The worst hand i like to play every now and again is 7 2 suited.  I won a big pot one time with a flush but i know book says never play 72.

67 suited

Postby Aree1996 » Sat Dec 03, 2005 5:53 pm

67 suited hits alot, it is also great when the board is 2 3 4 5 b/c you know that anyone with an ace calls in internet poker games, so they think they hit the best straight and you rake all of their chips.
