low connectors

Postby Tirs1969 » Sun Jan 22, 2006 5:53 pm

i often dont play low connectors for the simple fact that there are a lot of flush crazy players who'll hold onto any suited pair esp. K2 K3...Q2 Q3...so if the connector doesnt hit for the straight, you'll be outkicked.

The situation should dictate if you play a hand or not. Once you've played enough hands you'll stop even considering what you had and how it would have worked with a particular board. You've already folded why worry about it? Worry/get ready for the next hand.

Depends alot on your position and how late into the tourney you are.  Also table postion is important to playing these weak starting cards.
