People that talk about me in a foreign language.

This morning I kept seeing my handle used in a conversation in German.

I hate the ones that sit out when the tournament starts but I also Hate the ones that go all in everyhand to try and get a big chip lead or leave the tournament then when they get or if they get the chip lead they then sit out till the number of plares has dwindled down a lot.

Funny topic.

I voted for the All-in'ers.  This is that brilliant group of sprinters that seem to think doubling up in the first round (at any cost) is a good way to give them a shot at winning.  Large tourneys are marathons.  They have to be played with that in mind.  If you start with 1500 chips, and realize that the players at the final table will have over 100,000, what sense does it make to go all-in on the first hand.  It just doesn't make sound sense.  Watch how these players end up after a couple early all-in wins....usually going oout in the middle of the pack.  Their loose calls/raises are soon caught by better players who wait to take advantage of the large, loose stacks.

Know-it-all players are my second favorite.  Ever notice how these players know exactly how to play but rarely finish well?  Doesn't make much sense does it?  It usually signals an immature player that hasn't had much experience.  They read a book or two and think they are above the odds.  The fact of the matter is, cards fall randomly and playing "correctly" is still subject to a bad turn of the cards....that's what keeps it interesting.

I will say that I can be very chatty at the table. I never give advice or talk strategy, but I like to have a good time. Why else would I be playing? As for the people I hate, its the ones that don't understand how to play. The ones that call without the correct odds and get seriously lucky. Then everyone says "nh" and stuff. I hate that. The all inners are a breed of player. They are always going to be there early. They will go away around the time of the first break. I like these guys because I can usually double or triple up early. Like gmroz says though, the point of doubling up early means very little in the long run. But it doesn't hurt to have a few all inners when you have AA.

I hate people who would rather go all in every hand and think that thats how you are supposed to play, it makes the poker boring.
