Jess, it's an excellent question, but more info is needed.

What was your position in the tourney?

I folded AKd in a huge tourney when we were 6 handed. I was middle stack and UTG player put me all in and I folded. I finished 4th in that tourney for $4200, but I sometimes regret not calling there. The only reason why I didn't is because there was a very small stack at the table and every time I moved up I got an extra $1000. Its all a matter if you want to play to win, or play to cash. Bubble spot, I might fold AK here. If you want to try to win, you might need to gamble here to get yourself a big stack.

Without knowing anything else about the hand then "AK, was pushed all-in, folded" I actually will say it was probably an excellent fold.

Chances are you would have been up against PP, and in worst case scenario it could have been AA or KK wich makes you AK pretty small. Best case scenario a low PP where you atleast have two overcards, or better, calling agains AQ, AJ, KQ, KJ or worse

So... without knowing any further facts atall. I stick to my: "Excellent fold"

If you made it to money, with no more info I can only say it was good play. You could just as easily be up against some kind of pocet pair, and lose lots of chips.
