Rigged

Postby Cleakettent » Wed Dec 28, 2005 12:02 am

I dont believe sites are rigged. They are all regulated. The reason u see more bad beats etc is because alot more hands are played online in a shorter space of time. And ppl always remember that bad beat. ;o)

I use to wonder about the idea that there are more good hands delt online than live.  Then I started whaching live at the bike.  The same things happen there that happen online, so I don't think there is anything funny going on.  It's also made me wonder about the idea that as you move up the play get better.  The Wensday night whale game looks like something out of a freeroll.

Its not that the sites rig the card its anyone favor but im pretty sure they aren't running a true rcg, i have ran one after reading someone else post about this and if any of these sites were running rcg's no one would ever get a hand and the play would be very boring... if anyone disagrees with me they can try it out for themselves

there's no way that the cards are rigged.  think of the liability for the company if anyone ever found out.  i know from experience playing especially at PP that some hands are fishy, like KK vs AA showing up what seems like more often than statistically accurate, but most big name poker sites have been tested and certified through a third party agency, and this certification is viewable to anyone from their site.

I agree that the sites are not rigged but after what I saw last night it has made me wonder.

Tropical Poker  big money lol $1 freeroll 10 player sit and go

winning hands

1st hand pair JJ
2nd   Ace flush
3rd    Ace flush
4th    4 jacks
5th    boat  q/5
6th    boat  9/6
7th    boat  a/3
8th    A flush

Now am not complaining of bad beats as the only hands I played I got the q/5 boat and only called that as they were suited and the 8th hand A flush had A 10 o/s and as soon as I saw a couple of hearts on the flop I knew that there were going to be 2 more to make the flush.

This amazing sequence may ave carried on as the next 5 hands all paired the board but were never taken to showdown. Now the odds against this run are massive if all 10 seats are being used but there were 5 sit outs so that makes them even more rediculous.

Rigged no    random I have serious doubts.

I don't believe they are rigged but when you see someone go all in with 3 5 off and hit 553 on the flop you gotta scratch your head and wonder! LOL

SOOO many times I have seen people hit wierd hands.thats poker I guess.

RIGGED HANDS

Postby Nowd1988 » Sun Jan 22, 2006 9:48 am

I HAVE OFTEN THOUGHT THAT POKER HANDS ON ABSOLUTE POKER ARE RIGGED. I HAVE SEEN POCKET KINGS GET BEAT WITH 2-3 OFFSUIT WHEN THE FLOP BRINGS TWO 3'S. ALSO, I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS RIVER BEATS. CHANCE? MOST LIKELY, HOWEVER IT DOES MAKE ONE WONDER.-------------------ALLTHAT111

DO you think mulyi-million/billion dollar casinos need to rig hands??? I mean think about it on a larger scale of things they make more than enough money just from tourney buy-ins and the rake. they son't need to rig the cards.

No they are not rigged.  At least not against any particular player.  If they are rigged then it's rigged against us all, which puts us all in the same boat, therefore making it fair

I always have a tough time believing sites are rigged, I think if any part of a site is rigged  it would be the high rollers tables, really how much money are you going to get by rigging a freeroll or low buy in tourny
