AP Freeroll

Postby Givis1968 » Fri Jun 17, 2005 1:39 pm

What I hate about tourneys, at least the freerolls, is that people go all in with practically nothing and not just one person. How can 5 people go all-in preflop on a hand like 8 3. That's just the most annoying thing I've seen. And some of these people are the lucky ones who win the god damn event and think they're all that. I generally play them by just folding most of the time unless I have a really good hand, but that's where my luck sucks. They hit they're freakin 8 3 and win.

i agree with you about the ap free rolls but if you play real money tourneys they play much different and the players are much better.

I think it happens in all freerolls. Nothing is on the line to them and they are just trying to get chips. If they aren't lucky then they can try again in an hour. If they win they double up and you guys are out of the tournament. What I don't like about the AP freerolls is the prize and the payout. If they just cut the freerolls in half and double up the prize or something then it would be worth playing 4 hours to win. Just my two cents.

The first couple rounds of a free roll always piss me off. I don't even check the blinds unless I'm willing to go all in with the hand, cause I know 3 people behind me are gonna be all in.
