Suited Connectors

Postby Bours1966 » Sun Mar 05, 2006 7:48 pm

Just wanted to know how this should be played.  I will say I have J10 suited, so how should I play it.  I always run into this situation and its tough to figure out what to do, so I thought i'd post this.  Do most of you guys play hands like 67, 45, 34, 23 suited or do you fold them?

Sometimes you should raise with them.  It would make it seem like you have high cards.  Then when you hit your straight or flush, you play it like you're waiting for an ace.

Any types of suited connectors are my favorite hands. Ill play almost any suited connectors except for maybe 23 or 34. I have played 56 atleast 5 times i can remember.

I like the play suited connectors in late positions. If no one had previously raised before i like to raise big cause you are 40% to win against say an AJ.

do not play the low suited connectors unless your the big or small blind and get a cheap flop.

Depends on position and stack amounts.

I usually play suited connectors though, but always raise with them.

They can win lots of money, but also give you lots of draws to lose on.

I love suited connectors... the higher the better...  no reraising.. maybe alittle with the higher connectors (AK, KQ...)  and i wouldnt call a big raise with the low ones but u have just as much chance hitting suited connectors.

when you have suited connecters just call the blind. If someone ahead of you raises ANY amount you should fold them. So just limp in with them. Hopefully you will get a flush draw on the flop, if not let them go.
