Not me my good friend. Big Slick takes good care of me and my wallet. I won 150 bucks at a cash game a few days ago with it

AK is a great starting hand and your eyes light up with unbeatable confidence when you get this. But be warned be careful. If your the middle stack at the table make a raised into it, depending on position. I like to raise 10X big blind. You might think this is a large raise but the majority of the time you will get stupid callers. Now you have to decide to continue or abort after the flop. Play it aggressive but make sure that if the person called your raise 10X the BB then he must have AX or a pocket pair. With that said you then have to get some information from your opponent by raising 7X the BB or so and see what he does. This totally depends on what kind of a flop it is and what shape you are in. Well GL with big slick.

The reason everbody overplays is because overbets are usually the only way to make it proffitable, hence get u in trouble. Play them for what they are.

AK is like a dream hand to some people, you have to realize you can lose with any hand no matter how good it seems.   A good player will know when to lay down the BIG SLICK when he knows he is beat.  I like AK but i dont fall in love with it.

I think this is a hand where you limp in or do a small raise because if you don't hit the hand is awful.

Everyone seems to think AK is an automatic winner. Players get bitterly disappointed when they push all in and lose with this hand but it is not a made hand. AK is frequently done in by small pockets. A good raise to get rid to the mice and then play the flop is the way to go.

That,s a tough one, especially early in a tourney !! You go ALL IN,, and if no-one calls you make 30 chips, IS IT worth it ?? Some-one calls and you don,t catch anything, you have a sinking feeling hung out to dry. People will call with a Q-J ,, and a queen flopped, now what do you do ??? Don,t fall in love with big slick, unless it,s a high money ring game, thats different !! It,s not like TV !! lol
