AP is NOT rigged. Every poker site has bad beats. Considering there are thousands of players playing every day on the site, there are gonna be a fair amount of bad beats.

A poker site would really never benefit from "rigging" a site. If proof ever got out that this was true, then the site would most certaintly go under. Why risk that? They make there money off the rake. Also, the reason why so many people seem to experience "bad beats" at Absolute is because Absolute attracts all the "freeroll" players. The majority of these players experience these beats in their freerolls, where people play any 2 cards and sometimes get very lucky. They also take this same mentality and apply it to the low limit ring games as well. Make sense?

Bad Beats or Bad Players

Postby Appremuch » Sun Dec 04, 2005 7:45 pm

Although there are times that I think I have a better hand on the flop, you can never be even 50% sure that you will win a hand unless the opponent folds or the turn and river have come out and there is absolutely no way you can lose.  If you bet big on the flop, you're just setting yourself up for a loss because someone will almost always call.  Play smart, no bad beats, just bad bets and calls.

It isnt really rigged like others said. You just see so many hands in an hour compared to a live game you see more crazy stuff happen. If you saw that many hands an hr in a live game it would prob be the same way.

Postby terrpuss » Tue Dec 13, 2005 2:05 am

I deal poker every day, and on every table every day there are some unbelievable Bad........to.........really bad beats.  That's poker.....that's why we love the rush and regret the tilt! So don't blame Absolute, or Betfred, or ....... me,  place the blame on the game.  It's a great   gamble!

AP is a suckout creating machine. Meaning they attract so many "freerollers" who fail to learn the finer aspects of the game. They are going to play "bingo" poker and get lucky often. But trust me, bad beats happen on EVERY site, and every live game.

Look at it this way every time you loose to a bad beat it means you got your money in while you were ahead, and got your opponent to make a mistake!! Sometimes you win sometimes you loose! Thats why they call it gambling! They just happen more in a freeroll and low limits because you truely are playing amatures! They just don't understand the concept of FOLD!

Go watch a $100 sng or two and see how often bad beats really happen!!!

There are so many bad beats at AP cause thats just part of the game, and at AP there are so many wild players and that makes bad beat there little bit easier to happen!

the amount of bad beats is because so many people go in on nothing if other sites seemto have less its because they have less players and more serious players

There is so many bad beats, basically because people bet/call with crap cards. TOday I had a guy call an all in with 9 3 suited and he won. Its unbeleivable the garbage people play. 95 percent of online players are pure novices. Period.
