ok now seriously what is this with absolute... ??
yeh i do admit its great place to get alot of tournament play in but i mean how can you say the freerolls are great??
the freerolls dont have a steady base, yeh i suppose 1 freeroll every half an hour is appealing but i mean you have at least 100 players out after the first hand, at least 500 players that will play every hand that hasnt been raised and at least 200 people that will chase anything as simple as an A to the river, like i said personally for practising tournament play its a great site, the only thing tht is appealing with absolute poker at the moment is the super 1k,
ok also i know this sounds strange but i read in other posts about systems, and the shuffeling system after breaks, i know for 99% there is no system to poker but heres is 2 bad beats that fair enough happen alot im sure but its always on absolute poker :
i have AK,
i raise 2X the big blind + 800 in total
everyone folds down to the big blind how moves all in,
costing me another 1300 i call,
he flips over 55.
the flop comes 335,
he hits his boat,
the only way i can win this hand is running kings or aces correct,
or running 3's for 4x 3's
the turn comes A,
the river comes A ok now im sure this has happened to alot of people before but i mean that must have hurt, ok 1 more
im playing a freeroll and end up taking 4th place an amzing 4 dollars!!!
i try investing my 4 dollars in some ring game and after 10 minutes have doubled it WOW
i move up to a higher stakes and see some guys betting at 90% of his pots!! so i decide a little trap is in play so after 10 more minutes i have a nice steady $28
i carry on playing and through the night some how i manage to rake in a total of $150 b
i carry on playing the next night and i sit down at my p,c and after 30 minutes im another $100 up
i carry on playing and start to lose big time, after 30 more minutes im down to $90
skips an hour i have $200 again i sit down at a table and get dealt AA staight away
the blind are $1/$2 i raise to $10 everyone folds big blind re raises to $20 in total i just call dont want to show a monster,
the flop comes
AK2 im laughing ive flopped 3 aces he moves all in for $162 i call he shows KK
omfg what a suck out!!!
this guy then rubs it in my face telling me i played that hand all wrong if you ask me i couldnt have played it better,
by the way i played that i made it look like i had AK or maybe QQ
whats your thoughts on the subject
p.s i bet no-one could be bothered to read that
