Currently my favourite poker site right now has to be poker4ever. It has great software for a new site, Lots of fish and tons of Freerolls with decent prize pools for the beginning players out there. Once traffic picks up on some of the higher NL tables this site could really take off.
Yeah I like the software too, there's a nice daily $400 freeroll. Just what i don't like is the Regular Tournaments section. Too few guaranteed tournaments, freezeouts etc., so your only options to increase your money are just the ring games.
Poker4ever is definately not in the top ten of my list of sites I like. I have been playing on there since they started, built a decent banroll only to be lottoed out of most of it in rebuy- tournies by donks who call and play anything. Noone is ever at the sng's, so I have begun to neglect 4ever for the past few weeks.
I love 4ever. Ive found that their GRNTD $100 and $200 tourneys are some of the best around. For only $1 or $2 entries, rebuys and addons only thru round 3, and only 30-35 players on average makes them some of the best paying low buyin tourneys around. I also like the ability to be able to sit at any spot on the table as well.
I tried to avoid playing here as long as possible--since I hold new poker sites in suspicion for a while--but the site got too forum friendly for me to ignore. I've cashed in both depositors freerolls I've played in, though I've taken horrendous 2-3 out beats in every tourney I've played there, including bubbling a couple of times in forum tourneys.
A few weeks later, and I'm still playing Poker4Ever, though their name sounds like a Judas Priest song. It's good to see a new poker site get so friendly with the forums; they're not going to let AP and Titan get all the forum action.
