yea its a great hand to have preflop, but once the flop comes everything starts to change. People seem to hit trips, 2 pairs, and straight draws.

AA gets cracked more often than not because people cant seem to get off that hand no matter what the board shows.  Players think its a guaranteed win just because they were dealt that hand.  The best thing you can do is adjust your play once you have seen the flop.  AA is just like any hand, its nothing special.

hey I dont like AA alot I mean its a greating starting hand heads up but when you are in a tournament, you better push them ROCKETS all in because they are not going to last long against 3-4 other opponets heads up against another pocket pair they are freaking golden so make sure you go all in with them right off the bat.

Dangerous pair

Postby Wharleas » Sat Sep 02, 2006 6:41 pm

These pocket AA's are a dangerous pair, but still said to be the best starting hand in Texas Holdem.  So I disagree, you can get beaten with them but you can also win big with them.  That just called poker...

i would take ace ace any daily in a live poker game at like a home game or a casino or sumtin like that....but when it comes to online play i cannot stand ace ace because it all most always ends up in a suck out

well there is no doubt its the best starting hand in poker...but online with agressive donk play of so many its hard to not get outdrawn ...I would say I have lost more then I have won with aces.
