Well...this is kinda cool! Gonna see if I can bump up my freeroll winnings by playing sit 'n gos...(which I've already been doing every free moment) and get into a $20 tourney. Then, even if I don't money, I'll get $ back to keep playing.

Thanks, AP and Hasselquist!

thats one of the better deals out there. you can enter the 90 k sattelite for 18 + 2 and get your 20 back and maybe even get in the 90k 8)

Rippster,

According to another forum I'm a member with, you'd only receive an $18 credit back to your account (the $2 fee isn't refundable).  You can however play in a $20 tournament (NL Holdem, Omaha PL, etc.) and get your entire $20 back.

Another thing that everyone should know.  I like a lot of our members am signed up at many different forums, and I know of at least two others that are offering the same promotion (get a $20 buy-in refunded by using the forum's name in the Subject line of the e-mail).

I bring this up because I contacted AP's Support directly to find out if I could sign up for more than one of these offers (thought I'd sign up for one using one forum, and another using a different forum).  I was informed that this offer is limited to a one time use per AP account.

Thanks Rambo for clarifying that. I know we belong to overlapping forums and I have seen the offer on at least one other forum if not two that I belong to.

I assume my coupon which is specifically for Omaha HI Lo or Stud is still good as that is a direct mailing to AP rewards members for those who got that offer too

If you have $ in your account already that is good enough right? Or is this only with a new deposit?

Irongirl,

You're right about that ARP Rewards coupon you received in the mail.  It's good for any Omaha (H/L or regular) or Stud tournament up to $20 in value until December 31st.

How do I know this? I redeemed the offer myself a month or so back.

No, but it is a pretty amazing offer.  As with many promotions, you don't get something for nothing.  The cool thing about a lot of these poker promotions is that you barely have to do anything.  For instance, make a deposit at AP, play a tourney, get your money back and then withdraw the funds.  If you aren't willing to make a deposit anywhere (under any conditions), you aren't the customer they are looking for anyway.

Thanks for the information. Has anyone been successful with their free $20 yet?  It would be nice to hear how people are doing with this promotion.

Well, my quest for the $20 seems to be going in the wrong direction...but I'm still at it. And I'll finally have some time coming up! Man...December just gets nuts for me. I'll spare you the details...but my schedule is unreal. Thank god  break is coming up...
