Cashing out

I dont like to keep alot of money online.. there is no need.. I only play low limit ring and low limit buy.. So what I do is if I win something decent I move it to my net-teller.. That way if Im steaming or tilting I wont want revenge and blow my bankroll. Ive known people that have won a big tourna...

Razz

Basically Razz is like 7 card low... You want the lowest 5 card combo. Obviously a-2-3-4-5 is the nuts. Once you start pairing and getting those high cards.. Get out of the hand. You want low.. thats it Sounds easy but Im still learning the game myself.. played it twice and no final table.. Middle o...

those ap tournies

i remember when I started online I actually won a 2000 player freeroll(Texas n/l).. By the time the "All-inners, sitouts a dead weight"are gone.. With a decent stack they are winnable.. the poker actually got very good. Thing is that $10 first isnt worth 6 hours..lol I also placed top ten in omaha a...

Well

The big key is your chip stack and if your rolling or not.  Think about how many times you have made it to the final table and watch the small chip stack with the Big Bullseye double up a couple of times and become a factor.  Although the pros play with crap, I find it hard to understand why. Natur...

Drunk

I think limit is the key.. Sure have a few cold ones.. But if the stakes are high live or online.. Sober is the way to play.

Then again with freerolls.. Heck suck 'em back.. Its alot more fun hat way!

Heads up

As Ive found out recenlty be careful when  slow playing heads up.. Natuarally you think youve got it so hey lets make a few extra chips.. One thing you should remember is giving away too many cards can cause alot of pain. If he is in the hand after you raise , then there is a reason.. dont let ...

Also

I also agree with the theory of not moving up.. If your making money in whatever limit game you play.. Keep doing it.. Alot of times people let there ego get in the way.. Dont live beyond your bankroll.. I play online as a hobby not a business like some.. So I only gamble freeroll/low buy-in money t...

Showing

There are many advantages to showing.. I dis-agree if somone says you should never show.. The first is like mentioned already.. Show a few bluffs and get a few people wound up that you play anything and raise with any hand.. I personally like to do this early to establish a loose image that I tighte...

Good one! I think everyone should be practicing there heads up play. Those cheap 1 or 2 dollar heads up matches are fun and great for learning the art. If you make alot of final tables Id strongly suggest the practice. My stratedgy is simple.. Change your style.. Let him catch you raising with crap ...

Well...

I agree with Fubar here.. dont slow play them.. Just prey he didnt hit trips.. Then again I may check-raise them. Hoping he flopped a pair and will make a bet.. Then again with A-A I almost certainly have raised pre-flop and hopefully my read is right. Like Arjon said it depends on the situation.. a...

k-4

I wouldnt even play this trash unless on a blind with no raise. Some people do have lucky hands they play so maybe this is yours. Problem is if a king hits the flop your probably out-kickered and will lose alot of chips.

Hmm

I just have to dip my toes in this one as there are comments from Rambo, Arjon and fubar.. 3 players I really admired when I started playing online poker and learning the game. I happen to agree with all points as playing tight, agressive poker is the way to go. Then again I also switch everything u...

AK vs KK

Id choose to have K-K over A-K anyday. I had K-K 3 times last week vs A-K and lost them all. Funny thing is I believe I was pushed all-in all 3 times..Twice he/she caught the A on the river. Even after those painfull beats I would choose K-K over A-K.
