I too like Razz, because it's something completely different than 99% of the games I usually play online.  We're flooded with Holdem this, and Holdem that, and it's nice to play something that's unique, and requires a different strategy.

I take the same approach with my bankroll as I do with my cards.  I trust my gut instincts, and make my decisions based on them. Sometimes I'll cash out as soon as I hit a set figure (whether it's $50, $100, etc.), and other times I'll keep playing.  Lately, the amount of money I keep at m...

I just ignore it.  If they're talking trash to me, it's usually because I just took all their chips.  I'd much rather be a gentleman at the table than a jerk. Also, they may get the first word in, but I generally get the last word, and that's only if someone says something that really gets...

the only time i like pocket twos in if i can see a cheap flop and if i dont hit then im runnin like a scalded dog. I couldn't agree with you more, though I may be aggressive with the hand post-flop if the cards are low (3 4 6 for example).  In cases such as this, it's fairly safe to say that m...

K's are the type of hand you can find yourself broke with, or you can take down a pretty good size pot with. You should definitely raise pre-flop with them (to eliminate opponents with weak A's) to narrow the field.  If you're re-raised, or worse re-raised all-in, it' s nearly impossible to get...

I was wondering the same?  The e-mail lists 10 qualifiers, with 999 entries in each, and 80 people qualifying from each one for the Main Event on November 1st. If they've begun already, I was unable to find them listed either.  However, I did read that Poker Host would be updating it's sof...

All you can honestly do is to put yourself in the best situation to win.  If that means you're all-in with A K against your opponent's 8 7, and they outdraw you, then you have nothing to be ashamed of.  Bad beats will happen, and as crazy as it sounds, I'd much rather lose with the best ha...

yep .. quiting for a while to  prevent boring and keep interesting.. then come back .. I agree with you how important it can be to step away from the game every once in a while.  If you're going through a really rough stretch, and begin to question your decision process, or have no faith ...

These are the exact kind of players you should be patient against.  If you realized that this opponent was ultra-aggressive, or played and was successful (or lucky) with mediocre hands, you should have used this information to crush him.  Instead, you pushed with an average hand, had the f...

This seems like a great tournament to be a part of.  I received an e-mail from Poker Host telling me about this tournament, and I truly wonder if there'll be any "strings attached" to this or not? I would be interested in knowing when registration opens for this tournament, and how many people ...

I've wrote before about not getting a Royal Flush, but finally got one the other day.  I had A's with the A of clubs, and raised the standard 3x (the bb) and was called by one player.  The flop came down J Q K of clubs.  I checked, and my opponent bet 120.  I check-raised to 240,...

Omaha Hi Lo is an extremely challenging game.  Looking at the scenario you've presented, I too would have made the call.  Unless my opponent had flopped a set (or was lucky enough to hit the straight- which he did), I would have had to feel I was in great shape to take down both the Hi and...

I too have noticed that Titan Poker has it's bad days.  It only happens so often, but I notice that the software seems to stall on me, and time me out when I'm playing.  It's as if the software doesn't recognize I'm connected to the internet, and I'm timed out as a result of it.
