Got to play the set extremely aggressive since straights and flushes are very prevalent.  Omaha is a different monster as you have to pretty much have the nuts to win.

Limping in is probably the right way to play these unless you get raised then most likely folding is the best option unless you have a lot of chips and want to gamble.

I dont know if everyone has noticed but AP it seems have made some slight modifications especially in freerolls.  I have picked up that the one with the most chips doesnt necessarily win anymore as it had been in the past but yes AP I think is the best site out there.

I dont think you can fall in love with the middle range suited connectors.  Especially if you are facing calling a raise.  Its a good hand to limp in with but when you are raised, your best bet is to throw it out.

I agree AK is the most overplayed.  AK has everything beat except for a pocket pair when that is usually a 50/50 coin flip.  Exceptions are AA or KK where you are a huge underdog.  AK is obviously a good hand to push with when you a short stacked but you also have to know when to let ...

Suited connectors are decent starting hands but if you dont get a real good portion on the flop, you have to fold them.  I find they typically hit about 25% of the time so be careful playing them and know when to lay it down.

Well the best starting hand is obviously AA but they say the best hand to crack AA is 7 8 suited and 10 9 suited.  While they are an underdog to AA its not a huge one.  I personally like QQ or KK.  AA always get beat online but in the casinos not usually the case.

I agree...the 2hr wait was a good move for AP.  It cuts down on the donkey play as well as cuts down on the number of people in the field.  Its still tough to go through 1500 people to cash in the top 18 but its a nice challenge.

Haha...basically you have to act like a statue and constantly thing of things that depress you.  That way you act somber and it gives off that you are consistently getting crap for cards or just act bored.  I find that it gives no tells and that people think you are a miserable player. &nb...

I find it that if you have 8's or better, raising is the best move.  However if you 7's or lower its best to disguise your hand and limp in.  So, if you hit a set not too many players will notice it and your implied odds go up of picking up a big pot.  That is just my experience.

AA gets cracked more often than not because people cant seem to get off that hand no matter what the board shows.  Players think its a guaranteed win just because they were dealt that hand.  The best thing you can do is adjust your play once you have seen the flop.  AA is just like an...

AP is by far the best poker site on the web.  I know that every site has its far share of "coolers" just to increase the rake for the site but for the live games I think they are the most trusted.  I have been on other sites and it seems as though you can blow though a $100 in less than an...
