I play Titan most of the time and the bonus is really easy to clear. I normally play NLHE from 0.25/0.50 to 1/2 anyway (depending on what is available) so stay in my comfrt zone when working bonus cash. I tend to play 5 or 6 tables in mini view so the points really clock up fast. I play really tight...

Losing with AA always sucks.
Worst of all is when you have achieved exactly what you want - that is having got rid of the table to go heads up - and some idiot destroys you with cards that should have been binned.

I'd call him. Only three hands have me beat at this stage and the odds of him having one of them is over 70:1 His betting may suggest that he has one of the golden 3 but it also suggests that he is trying to push you off. Add his playing style and the fact that it is a final table where aggression r...
don't forget that it didn't take a full house to beat you; there were higher flushes possible too.
Kev, I agree with Arjonius. Going only from teo indicators (size of the bet and the fact that a number of hands had you covered) you should have been thinking I am beat here. Obviously ...

I think that pyschologically AK appeals to people much more than small pocket pairs because A & K are the big guns of the pack. Nearly everyflop that comes down will have at least one over card to a small pair. This puts the guy with the pair on shaky ground because he will never know where he i...

Pokerster, I have read a few of your recent posts and suggest that you write a book about poker as you seem to know a lot about it and have a definite literary style (unless you are plagerising that is, if you are it is bad form not to credit an original writer for his/her wisdom   ). 8)

The big problem with AA is that none of us is good enough to pay them right evertime. If we could read the other players right and make the right play they would never lose (sometimes this would mean making just 10 chips from them and some times it would mean laying them down). The number of times I...

Online poker is worth billions of dollars and as such will be a target for cheats and criminals the world over. The heart warming part of it is that the online casinos/cardroom know that if there was even a sniff of there site being 'cracked' they would lose out on their share of the takings as play...

32Red

32Red is pretty good for freerolls. They have a $200 at 1pm GMT and $1,000 at 6pm GMT everyday with no entry requirements. They also have 2 or 3 other 'freerolls' at other times but you need to rake 100 hands in the previous 24 hours to qualify. The only downside to the real freerolls is that the fi...

Middle/Low pairs. No matter how I play them they always tend to cost me. Even when I catch trips I tend to only win about 50% with them  :(
