be careful slow playing aces. unless you hit trips or you KNOW that they do not have anything, i'd suggest with a big bet. people get bad beat all the time with aces becfause they do not make good decisions.

it juse seems that way because you remember more hands that you lose. you expect AK to win every time and probably hardly even ntoice when you beat KK with it

either reraise to see if he is bluffing, or if you feel that you are beat, than just call. if you're not gonna call with top two pair, than what are you going to call with? you still have outs going to the river and the turn

actually it would depend more on the poker program i think, rather than this forum. Although private games have less people, less used programs will have less people, even in this forum alone. newer or less popular sites can have tournaments that can finish in just about an hour.

freeerolls are way too crazy at absoulte. 2000 players all the time. and now you can only play one at a time, and have a 2 hour wait time. makes absolute poker seem a lot less appealing to free players.

I would have folded after the turn as well. Your flush is only 1/2 % to win compared to after flop. depending on who you are playing however, i might call if they are super aggy or loose.

i'd call and see a flop. if it's got Qs and Js and you're up against a raise. you can count on them having As and Ks so you will be in the lead. it's worth a cheap call or else you'd only be playing premium hands, which are rare enoguh.

i love to play them as well. if i don't hit on the flop i quickly discard them though. not worth the risk if you decide to bluff. when you do hit though, the $$ rolls in =)

lol quads is definitely better than full boat. if you get quads, chance are you are holding the winning hand =) statistically, it is extremely difficult to get, as a full house is much more common

those hand charts really help. although sometimes it is good to play a lot of hands in the beginning because of the cheap blinds, overall you will lose more than you gain probably

the only thing to look at is maybe betting patterns and how long it takes for the player to act. other than that, i guess you can only look at their chip stack.

yeah i know what you're talking about. in the beginning everyone is loose and it's hard to play bluffs. at the end final table etc, people tighten up a lot and then bluffs are possible
