I would always raise in this postion because you dont want to be playing with more than 3 hands otherwise your odds arent looking to good. If someone were to reraise you must make a crucial decision. This decision must be based on previous trends and tourny situation.

small raise is usually your best bet

What about just making a normal raise to 3x or 4xBB?  This is the action I'd take most often, although not all the time by any means.

correct play is really to fold but i hate  folding jacks so i ussually do a normal size raise but if someone comes over the top of me ill fold them.
