I play rebuys the way Rambo describes. I usually add on b4 the tourney starts though, and then I pick and choose my spots. A double add on at break, and I am out of the first hour with 4 buyins and looking to catch the fish who cant play a hand without rebuying evey 5 minutes

That's what makes them so appealing; especially the low buy-in re-buys with Guaranteed $.  Though these "fishes" are even more dangerous in re-buys than they would be in a freeroll.  I say that because you only have to eliminate them once in a freeroll; in a re-buy they keep coming back for more!

Well, I usually stay away from re-buys, however I'm going to try one. So I guess I'll see you all at the table. I hope you guys have given the right advice because I think I'll follow it...

Let me be the first to say that you dont need to rebuy or add on to win a rebuy tourney...I came in 2nd in 1 before, and would ahve come in 1st had I not had a 99% chance of winning to the river, and the guy hit his miracle 1 outer.     I do great in rebuys. My goal is to not rebuy........If I lose, maybe I will rebuy, but mostly I just take chips from everyone else...sure after the break I wont be chip leader...But who long as I can survive the blinds for a while to get a nice hand and win a nice pot, I'm perfectly happy...Like the guy said at the top...Patience is the key in a rebuy tounament.

Dont forget, for a newcomer to the forums and existing Quality over Quantity will make them stay.
