i like the new carpeting installed at AP , much easier on the eyes. I really better start liking it because I made a final table at a free roll last week and is is burning a hole in my pocket.

too slow

Postby Roorge » Sat Feb 25, 2006 8:11 pm

Absolute is just too slow. They give players way too much time to react. Sometimes it takes 2-3 minutes to get around the table, makes me lose my patience and do stupid things, lol.

I agree -- having to wait 2 minutes while some moron gets back from the toilet, or tries to reconnect is way too long.  Otherwise it's my favorite site.

I would have to agree. It is a great site other than the fact on the time lengths allowed to players. They say they want to be the best,so email them your feelings.

pokerconduct.com is a joke... A lot of the 'evidence' they have on their site is either absolutely ridiculous or faked.

oh, right, I forgot:

what I just said is an example of something that pokerconduct would use as 'evidence' that I am a shill. Anyone who defends AP is obviously working for them and a shill.

However, I have criticized them previously in these forums and elsewhere... confusing, isn't it?

However they are the only site that eliminates sitout players if they have  not played a round within the first level of blinds. To me that helps to speed the overall game up.

I like the long reaction time maybe they should cut it down to where it only goes around one time but i like this feature if i have to go do something really quick or have to make a big decision.

I think ap is a good site but i agree with you guys that they give to much time for the players to react. I think 15-20 sec will be enough.....

AP

Postby Ahmand1976 » Mon Jul 10, 2006 6:08 pm

Howdy Y'all -

I don't care much for AP personally but they sure manage to garner a loyal following somehow. They have way to many minor glitches such as the short length they allow for chat and minor things such as that. I forget if they ever fixed the position listings for the MTTs but that didn't work correctly during the tourneys for a very long time. As far as the sit-outs being removed, I agree that's a great feature but AP is not the only room that does it. I think Jet Set had that in place at least a year befor AP added it. I pretty much stay away from AP except for various forum tourneys they hold there.

Anyhow, good luck players at whatever tables you play!
