Postby Theauster » Sun Oct 30, 2005 2:06 pm

i play alot on Ap i find it good proctice

ive only ever come in the no 1 spot once but
i do quite often make the money.

once you get past the first 500 all in boys there
are some good players that keep u sharp

this can make u a better player on an other site

but to win it does take 4 to 5 hours for the  $10

note top 5 get into the sunday $1k but thats a hard
one to win as all are good players not like a freeroll
so u must ajust ur game

"Absolute"

Postby Cultin » Wed Nov 09, 2005 12:31 pm

This site is the one that I've been on primarily (and Tiger)... this is because I am leary about the computer virus stuff that everyone says is out there.  I do find it a very slow process and the "all-ins" at the beginning of a tourney are frustrating when you have a potentially great hand to play out.  I would like to know if there is a "safe" site that you have used and would recommend.

Hi Post:  I have a good recomendation for you:  Royal Vegas Poker.  It is part of the Prima Network.  I like playing cash games there.  They have a nice little deal if you sign up:  $10 free....no strings (unless they changed it).  At the bottom of this site, you will see a banner for Royal Vegas...click it, and you will be on your way.

Reminder:  Try to use our referral links whenevr you D/L a new site.  Helps keep this place alive and running.

AP!

Postby Whasuff » Tue Nov 15, 2005 9:38 pm

I've played on numerous sites and AP by far is the worst for suckouts on the river.  Seen numerous gutshots hit on the river.  Now I know this isn't abnormal overall but the frequency that it  hits on AP has made me vow to never deposit there again.

I just cant sit through 1000 people for a shot at 5$ .  Now the private freerolls are a different story.

I agree the private free rolls and the private $1-$10 tourneys are way better as long as people do not give the passwords out to the retards who go all in 10 hands in a row.

The problem I have with AP is the amount of time between bets.  It seems AP gives people way too much time to make a call.  It just goes too slow.

I really like Absolute, I like how they have freerolls throughout the day, so whenever you want to play, you dont have to wait for an exceptionally long time, or if you get knocked out by a bad beat, you can just register for the next one and try again.

I've placed in one of their freerolls and came real close to placing a few other times. My one complaint with absolute is the time thing that others have been saying, it seems to drag the long game on 10 times longer, and when someone gets timed out, they seem to give them about 2 minutes instead of the 45 seconds they say they do. But Overall I really do like the site.
