Hmmm, that's great. Now ... try to "Withdraw" that money.

Good Luck!

So put 100 in, then pull it all out a week later. Not so tough.

Or leave the 100 in and grow it at the micro limits.

My main site i play is absolute, if you want to just play poker then its the site to go. They have the most freerolls. Althought i have heard some negative things, like them having shills, it still a good site.

Don't you mean the ... "lack of difficulty involved"?

Absolute is a very streaky site to play at.  I had a great run yesterday.  Played in 3 private free rolls.  Won 2 of them.  In the free roll I was eliminated in, I had pocket A's.  Went all-in and was called with Q 10 of clubs.  There were two clubs on the flop, and another club on the river for the flush.  You know you're having a great night when get knocked out on a hand like that

Absolute for sure

Postby Derry1968 » Sat Sep 03, 2005 6:07 am

I am fairly new to online poker, but of the 6 or so sites I have tried, I like Absolute the best.  Sure there are the players trying to hit the "Lotto" who go all in with 2 7 off suit, but if you can wait them out, the players left when there are only 100-150 are usually good poker players.  Still haven't placed yet, although I got 23rd once.  Only five spots away from a dollar.  lol

Hey Mystery....

I used to think that AP hated me. If you know SUN HONEY, SHe and I used to joke about it... I would go for long runs with no cards and then would get short-stacked and have to play the short game... But I have had a lot of success on AP too (some very nice wins). I think the site plays a little slower then some. Most tourneys I play there last about an hour longer then on the playtech or sites and it can be frustrating when card dead. Patience I have found to be key there...

I agree.  Someone brought up the suspicion of these robots to me that play in the freerolls and possibly other tourneys.  At first, I was like that would be cheap, why would they do that, and my explanation was "I've never played against a robot".  Well, my suspicion grew when with this flop:  A 2 6 rainbow... this guy called my all in raise (I had pocket aces) with 9 2.  He catches runner runner deuces to win.  I've asked living, breathing human beings if they would play that hand, and they said not in their wildest dreams, not unless they knew those deuces were coming.  Today, I also encountered another runner runner catch.  I also e-mailed Absolute about this, and they weren't too polite in their response.  They basically told me "there's nothing we can do".  I like Absolute's freerolls and their setup is cool, but this recent idea has given me more caution.  Who knows, it could've been a bad beat and a lucky catch.  But, with the lowest possible pair on the board, who would do that?
