I found that the buy in mtt tourneys are eaiser to build a good stack in because the play is generally better, but i think it is harder to cash . bingo play on freeroll seems to always destroy my good starters. whats everybody else think?

Buy ins are better to play, they are better if you want to learn game and if you want  to make money since they have much bigger prize pools, and less players.

No doubt at all, the buy-in multi table tourneys are much better for learning and more predictable poker.

As mentioned, it's much more difficult to money in them.   The higher the monetary buy-in is,  more difficult it is to cash in.   The player knowledge and experience is commensurate with the size of the tournament buy-in fee.

I find that the difference between freerolls and small buyin MTTs, meaning up to maybe $3 or $5, is more a matter of degree than of kind.  In freerolls, you definitely get more people who play bingo poker early on, risking their entire stack on just about any two cards.  In small buyins, you don't see that very often, but it's not hard to find people who will push with draws, second pair, etc. when they shouldn't.

Freeroll VS butin Tournaments

I think there is a major difference..

1.      better players

2.       Not as many allin all the time

3.      the players seems to be more friendly

4.      not as muck swearing over bad beats

Well to generalize the biggest difference is that in a buyin you have your money actually coming out of your pocket to play. For the most part, freerolls are a donkfest at the beginning. I really can't figure out why they play like they do, but it is a fact.

The ones that play dumb at first in freerolls usually end up makin it far.

It is the attitude that "its just a freeroll" that creates this play. I have friends that if you give them free money online view it as exactly that. They will donk around until there are broke. The smart ones try to make more off the freebies. Actually, for the most part I've seen better play in the freerolls now that the so many sites have closed. The all in donkeys don't have so many games to play so they play smarter.
